This role will be responsible for developing and executing SEO content strategies that increase rankings, drive qualified traffic, and generate conversions for fitness clients. If you are a strategic thinker who understands search intent, content performance, and scalable systems, this is an opportunity to build something from the ground up. The salary range for this role is $40k - $60k, based on experience, background, and locationWhy you should join usStandard 40-hour workweek with occasional flexibility to meet sprint deadlineCompetitive salary, health and dental insurance, life and disability, 401K, supplemental insurance, FSAs, flexible paid vacation days, 11 paid holidays and much more!Friendly, collaborative, and fun team!What You’ll DoDevelop and execute content strategies tailored to fitness brands and businessesConduct industry research to stay current on fitness trends, audience behavior, and competitive positioningPerform keyword research and search intent analysis to guide SEO-driven content planningCreate and oversee production of blogs, landing pages, website content, email campaigns, and paid ad copyEnsure all content aligns with brand voice, messaging guidelines, and marketing objectivesOptimize content for search visibility, engagement, and conversionsCollaborate with SEO specialists to implement on-page best practices, internal linking strategies, and content updatesReview and edit content to maintain quality, accuracy, and consistencyManage content calendars and ensure timely delivery of projects Build and refine scalable workflows for content productionMentor and provide feedback to a content team focused on supporting the fitness verticalSupport new client onboarding with strategic content planningMaintain documentation of processes, standards, and best practicesContribute to long-term vertical growth through content innovation and thought leadershipWhat We’re Looking For3 to 5+ years of experience in content marketing, content strategy, or digital marketingProven experience managing or mentoring a small team of writers or content contributorsStrong understanding of SEO fundamentals, keyword research, and search intentDemonstrated ability to develop and execute content strategies that drive traffic and conversionsExperience creating high-performing blogs, landing pages, email campaigns, and website contentStrong editing skills with attention to clarity, accuracy, and brand consistencyExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesExperience collaborating cross-functionally with SEO, paid media, design, and account teamsAbility to build and improve workflows for scalable content productionUnderstanding of audience targeting and customer journey mappingPreferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)Experience working with fitness brands or within the fitness industryAgency experience managing multiple client accountsExperience building content calendars tied to revenue or lead-generation goalsExperience with content performance tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO platformsIncline Marketing is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
