Physician Assistant - Surgical Services, West Valley (Hiring Immediately)

Description Major functions include serving as a Physician Assistant for the Surgical Services at West Valley under the general supervision of the Medical Director. Duties include providing inpatient care to surgical patients including General Surgery, Cardiac Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Urology patients, coordinating the care of adult patients, and providing patient/family education to promote a smooth transition from admission to discharge. Provide a discharge plan, providing detailed discharge instructions. Major functions include collaborating with interdisciplinary team members, leading the rotational mentoring program, participating in clinical trials, showing initiative in developing and implementing positive improvements for the allied health team. Taking a leadership role in research, teaching, and publishing. Salary range : Salary range : PA: $79.49 - $106.96/hourly Senior PA to be determined by relevant experience.
