Manages all facility maintenance systems within the operating unit(s).\nResponsibilities:\n\nPlan, coordinate and schedule daily maintenance operation to ensure that facilities are ready for daily operations\nPlan, review and schedule plant rearrangement efforts\nSupervise routine preventative maintenance and periodic check of power HVAC, fire protection systems etc.\nDirect normal and off-hour emergencies such as snow removal, building system failures and roof leaks\nAssist in budget development\nMaintain state-of-the-art knowledge of new plant engineering techniques by way of contracts with other industries, current publications and membership in professional societies/organizations\nWork with Advanced Technologies in new equipment qualifications\nWork with vendors setting up needed equipment\nResponsible for work order accountability\nUtilize project management skills when involved with multiple projects and show the ability to delegate tasks and drive on-time completion\nResponsible for building security, such as distribution of keys, enforcement of security procedures, arming and disarming training and card access system\nSchedule custodial services\nHazardous waste management handling and contingency plan duties\nAll employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction.\n\nOther information:\n\nComprehend OSHA standards in regard to performing work duties\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nEffective interpersonal skills\nEffective multitasking skills and the ability to take on additional responsibilities as required\nEffective organization and prioritization skills\nDemonstrate high attention to detail\nAbility to work with diverse groups\nDemonstrates discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment and professionalism.\nAbility to work with minimal supervision and guidance, exercising discretion and independent judgment.\nUnderstanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools.\nStrong customer service and client focus\nWorking knowledge of productivity tools, including Microsoft Office products and TEAMS conferencing software\n2 year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management; 2+ years maintenance management experience; 1+ years in a leadership role\nDemonstrated basic electrical and mechanical skills (i.e. schematic fundamentals)\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to drive solutions to planning issues with direction from senior management\nAbility to support a 24/7 global business operation as required\nEffective analytical, planning and organizational skills\nDemonstrated leadership and people management skills\nDemonstrated ability to work with a team and the ability to operate on diverse project teams with minimal direction\nLead or participate in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation, including a follow up review with the team in a presentation format\n\nEducation: 2 year degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience as approved by executive management; 2+ years maintenance management experience; 1+ years in a leadership role\nGeographical Location: Minnesota:Rochester\nPhysical Location: Rochester, MN\nShift: Shift 1\nWork Schedule: M-F 0800-1700\nFull Time\nExport Control: This job position may include access to controlled information or technology covered under applicable U.S. export control laws.
