Apply today!\n\nMachine Operator Responsibilities:\n\nPrepare and operate machines for tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling\nRead and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and specifications to determine required operations\nTranslate instructions into computer commands for machine execution\nLoad raw materials and parts onto machines and set up machines for full cycles\nCheck and maintain machinery daily to ensure proper functionality\nCorrectly log in tools and ensure tools and paperwork remain organized\nMaintain product cleanliness, free from burns, dirt, and grime\nCoordinate coating runs and monitor coaters for proper operation\nAccurately pick and pull orders from inventory, package, label, and prepare boxes as needed\nPerform inspections of purchased parts or finished products using standard physical, mechanical, or vision systems\nPerform repetitive visual and dimensional checks of products\nRecommend rework or rejection of finished products when necessary\nDocument inspection results accurately and prepare documentation for supervisor review\nComplete precision hand honing under microscope, filing flats on cutting edges of carbide drill bits and measuring flats accurately\nHandle sharp cutting tools safely, transporting tools between storage and work area\n\nRequirements for Machine Operator:\n\nHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience\nAbility to perform precise manual tasks and work under a microscope\nStrong hand-eye coordination and patience for detailed work\nAbility to use hands and fingers for handling, grasping, and manipulating small objects\nAbility to occasionally stand, walk, lift up to 25 lbs, and frequently lift up to 15 lbs\n\nIND065\n\nQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
