The Remote Monitoring Center Manager will play a critical role in shaping the future of DSI's nationwide remote video monitoring and security technology services.\n\nIf you have experience leading a Security Operations Center (SOC), Network Operations Center (NOC), monitoring center, command center, dispatch operation, or similar 24/7 environment, we want to hear from you.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nLeadership & Team Development\nLead, coach, develop, and motivate Monitoring Center personnel.\nRecruit, hire, onboard, and train team members.\nMaintain staffing levels to support uninterrupted 24/7 operations.\nManage employee schedules, performance reviews, and development plans.\nEstablish and monitor team performance goals and key metrics.\nPromote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and exceptional customer service.\nOperations Management\nOversee all aspects of Remote Monitoring Center operations.\nEnsure compliance with standard operating procedures and customer response protocols.\nMonitor alarm response times, SLA performance, operator productivity, and customer satisfaction.\nReview incidents and operational trends to identify opportunities for improvement.\nInvestigate service issues, procedural deviations, and customer concerns.\nSupport onboarding and implementation of new customers and monitored locations.\nTechnology & Innovation\nOversee and optimize monitoring technologies including video surveillance platforms, alarm monitoring systems, AI-driven analytics, and communications tools.\nPartner with Technical Services to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.\nSupport implementation and testing of new technologies and service offerings.\nEnsure operational readiness of monitoring workstations, displays, and communication systems.\nPromote cybersecurity best practices and operational security standards.\nCustomer & Business Support\nServe as an escalation point for customer concerns and critical incidents.\nParticipate in customer reviews and performance discussions.\nCollaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Technical Services, and Executive Leadership to support business growth.\nAssist with service expansions, renewals, and operational planning.\nQuality, Compliance & Business Continuity\nLead quality assurance programs and operational audits.\nSupport business continuity and disaster recovery planning.\nIdentify operational risks and implement corrective actions.\nMaintain required operational documentation, certifications, and compliance records.\nCoordinate disaster recovery exercises and system testing.\nQualifications\nRequired Experience\nMinimum of five (5) years of leadership experience in a 24/7 operational environment.\nMinimum of three (3) years managing personnel in a monitoring center, Security Operations Center (SOC), Network Operations Center (NOC), command center, dispatch center, or similar environment.\nExperience overseeing alarm monitoring, video monitoring, dispatch operations, emergency communications, or critical incident response.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Business Management, Security Management, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.\nExperience with the Immix monitoring automation platform.\nKnowledge of video surveillance systems, access control systems, and alarm monitoring technologies.\nUnderstanding of IP networking, cloud technologies, VPNs, and cybersecurity fundamentals.\nWork Environment\n\nThis position is based in our Dothan, Alabama National Security Operations Center.\n\nWhile standard business hours are Monday through Friday, this leadership role supports a 24/7 operation and requires flexibility for occasional after-hours escalations, staffing needs, major incidents, and business continuity events.\n\nOccasional travel may be required for customer meetings, training, audits, or company events.\n\n#CORP25\nWhy Join DSI?\n\nAt DSI, our people are our greatest asset.
