Headquartered in Tampa, Florida, with over 160 locations worldwide, our team of over 3,500 employees excels in offering a multitude of mission-critical services.If your skills, experience, and qualifications match those in this job overview, do not delay your application.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform DOT annual inspections and preventative maintenance on chemical tanker trailersDiagnose and repair air brake systems, ABS systems, and suspension componentsInspect and repair tanker barrel integrity, baffles, weld seams, and structural componentsService and repair valves, manways, gaskets, vapor recovery systems, and discharge systemsPerform pressure/vacuum testing and leak detectionTroubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems (if equipped)Conduct aluminum and stainless-steel welding/fabrication as neededMaintain proper documentation of inspections and repairsEnsure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat regulationsMaintain safe shop practices and follow OSHA guidelinesRequired Qualifications3+ years of heavy-duty trailer or tanker mechanic experience preferredKnowledge of DOT tanker requirements and hazmat regulationsExperience working on chemical or food-grade tankers strongly preferredWelding experience (TIG/MIG preferred for stainless/aluminum)Strong xhyhwjd diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in shop/outdoor environmentsValid driver's license (CDL preferred)DCI Benefits:Medical, dental and vision Insurance401(k) with generous employer matchPaid time off, including 10 paid holidaysOptional health savings account & flexible spending accountLife insuranceEmployee assistance programParental leaveReferral programTuition reimbursement
