{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d3a2f355aa1bb2bcd176c8e2","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d3a2f355aa1bb2bcd176c8e2","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d3a2f355aa1bb2bcd176c8e2","title":"QA Technical Service Representative","description":"The QA Technical Service Representative is responsible for the timely delivery of services as they relate to the quality assurance of Tremco’s installed roofing systems within their respective region.\n\nDuties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge:\n\nLead Technician performing roof patch and repair as necessary and determined by the Quality Assurance Group on Tremco Incorporated roof systems (BUR, Modified Bitumen, Single Ply, Fluid Applied, etc.).\nEstimate material and labor quantities for roof patch and repair.\nPerform Job Site Inspections as they relate to quality assurance and/or adjustment work.\nPerform detailed roof inspections to diagnose and troubleshoot issues and/or concerns.\nWork with local WTI Field Representatives and/or Supervisors as required or necessary.\nProvide accurate and timely documentation to ensure that all work was completed properly and that the customer is fully satisfied.\nConduct and foster professional and timely communication (via email, voicemail, in person) with the customers, sales reps, field staff, and internal company personnel on all work-related matters.\nDemonstrate working knowledge of all services provided.\nPerform any other duty and/or project as required or assigned by the QA Assurance Group.\n\nSkills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:\n\nHigh school diploma or GED\nPrior supervisory skills and ability to manage people and tasks\nPrior roofing experience including patch and repair skills\nKnowledge and ability to use basic tools associated with commercial roofing\nKnowledge and experience monitoring and maintaining Quality Control\nFunctional computer skills\nSafety training and OSHA knowledge with a commitment to safety at all times\nUnderstanding and ability to manage expenses\nPlanning and organizational skills. Able to juggle multiple priorities and demonstrate good task management\nWork independently, as well as in a team environment, to solve problems and delegate assignments\nExcellent customer service skills and ability to build relationships\nAbility to climb up and down interior/exterior ladders to access roofs (minimum of 20 ft) and carry basic hand tools, equipment and/or material up to approx. 100 lbs. over long distances\nCapable of walking along roof top edges (no fear of heights, good balance, etc.)\nAbility to handle prolonged exposure to outside weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.)\nAbility to travel out of town including overnight travel\nMust have transportation and a valid driver’s license\nAbility to work weekends and/or holidays if needed\nAbility to pass pre-employment drug test\nAbility to read, write and speak English\n\nThe hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $20 and $33.
