Typical deliverables include design drawings and engineering reports. You may be required to revise deliverables based on customer and stakeholder comments. Attention to detail and motivation to get projects completed in a timely manner are critical to success in this position. You will work under the supervision of an Engineering Manager and be supported by project engineers, draftsman, designers, and technicians.\n\nAssigned projects may include the following:\nBattery Energy Storage System (BESS) Design.\nFuel Cell Design.\nCombined Heat and Power (CHP) Design.\nBackup/Emergency Generator Design.\nElectrical Design for HVAC Systems.\nProtective Relaying Design.\nPower Systems Studies (Including Short Circuit, Coordination, Arc Flash and Grounding Studies).\n\nIt is expected that ideal candidate will bring a combination of relevant experience and desire to learn new skills to the position.\n\nThe position will be at our Brookfield, CT office. Travel to projects sites within the NYC Tri-State Area is expected approximately 2-4 days per month. Overnight travel will be limited.\n\nRequirements:\n6-12 Years of Relevant Experience.\nAbility to lead designers and coordinate with other professionals to develop design drawings and reports.\nFour-Year Engineering Degree from ABET accredited school.\nValid driver’s license.\nLegally authorized to work in the US.\nAbility to communicate with colleagues and customers is essential.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nLicensed Professional Engineer in any US State.\nExperience with AutoCad.\nKnowledge of Utility Standards and Electrical Code.\n\nExpected Salary Range: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,000–$160,000 per year. The actual starting salary will be based on the candidate’s experience, technical capabilities, professional licensure, and ability to independently lead projects.
