The DevSecOps team is central to this mission, integrating security, automation, and operational practices into the software development lifecycle. We provide a standardized developer platform that integrates CI/CD pipelines, security scanning, infrastructure automation, and developer tooling across both connected and classified environments. A portion of this work occurs in air-gapped environments, where automation, repeatability, and disciplined processes are critical to success.\n\nClearance & Location Requirements:\n\nAll applicants must currently possess an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.\n\nThis is an on-site position, based out of our Fall River, MA location.\n\nWhat You Will Do:\n\nBuild, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab and Jenkins, following established enterprise patterns\n\nIntegrate and operate automated security controls within pipelines, including SAST, SCA, container scanning, SBOM generation, and secrets detection\n\nSupport and maintain core Software Factory tooling (e.g., GitLab, artifact repositories, scanning tools, CI/CD infrastructure)\n\nDeploy, configure, and maintain containerized workloads using Kubernetes (RKE2 or similar distributions)\n\nOperate and support DevSecOps platforms within air-gapped classified environments, including:\n\npackaging and deploying dependencies\n\ntroubleshooting environment-specific issues\n\nsupporting repeatable software delivery without external connectivity\n\nAssist in enforcing compliance requirements (e.g., NIST 800-171, DISA STIGs, RMF) through automation and pipeline controls\n\nInvestigate and resolve technical issues across CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure, and tooling, documenting root causes and solutions\n\nGather developer feedback and identify opportunities to improve platform usability, performance, and reliability\n\nCollaborate with software engineers, security teams, and infrastructure teams to support coordinated delivery efforts\n\nWho You Are:\nWho You Are (Required):\n\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent full-time professional experience\n\n5+ years of full-time professional software and/or cybersecurity experience\n\nAbility to travel up to 10% of the time\n\nExperience in software development processes\n\nExperience with CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab)\n\nFamiliarity with container orchestration with Kubernetes\n\nHands-on familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash) or infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible) for automation of security tasks.\n\nFamiliarity with version control systems, particularly Git\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team\n\nExcellent communication skills and a desire to learn and grow\n\nWhat Makes You Stand Out:\n\nExperience working in a DevSecOps or DevOps role\n\nFamiliarity with secure software development practices and automated security testing tools\n\nExpertise in identifying, analyzing, and remediating software vulnerabilities, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and penetration testing methodologies.\n\nFamiliarity with DoD compliance frameworks such as NIST, DISA STIGs, or RMF\n\nExperience working in defense, government, or other mission-critical domains\n\nPay Range*: $135,000 - $231,000 or $164,000 - $273,000\n\nThis amount may not be reflective of actual compensation that may be earned as pay is dependent on a candidate’s experience, skills, and education. The posted range does not include bonuses, commissions, tips, or other benefits. IDT is often looking to place multiple candidates at various levels.
