We support owners, operators, and companies across charter brokerage, aircraft advisory/management, and MRO with one accountable relationship focused on safety, dependable service, and practical aviation guidance. We are a start-up burgeoning MRO operation. We are entering Phase 2: establishing the charter brokerage as our strategic growth driver. Our goal is to develop our own Part 135 charter service as a separate business line within three years and operate as an independent charter company in addition to our brokerage.www.phyxiusaircraft.comAbout the RoleWe are hiring a Senior Charter Broker to establish and own the charter brokerage function end-to-end. This role will bring and grow a book of business, build a 3x sales pipeline, manage prospect outreach, qualify opportunities, source aircraft, quote trips, manage bookings, handle required paperwork, and build the operating process with leadership.This role works closely with Marketing, Customer Engagement, Operations, and MRO. Marketing will support the sales function with approved messaging, collateral, email templates, campaign assets, event materials, and brand/compliance guidance. The Charter Broker is expected to use these materials consistently and provide feedback from prospect, client, operator, and partner conversations.This role includes approximately 2 to 3 hours of team meetings per week.What You’ll DoYou will conduct consistent outreach to qualified prospects, partners, operators, and referral sources.You will follow up promptly on inbound leads, charter quote requests, event contacts, and warm introductions.This is a hunter role. You will build and maintain a 3x sales pipeline to drive new charter revenue and repeat bookings.You will qualify prospects and move opportunities through the sales pipeline in HubSpot with accurate lead source, activity, notes, next steps, and status.You will source aircraft through vetted Part 135 operators, prepare quotes, negotiate operator pricing, protect margin, and manage trips through completion.You will serve as the client’s trusted point of contact from inquiry through wheels-down, with clear communication and dependable follow-through.You will manage required charter broker documentation, including customer agreements, operator agreements, trip records, and 14 CFR Part 295 disclosures when applicable.You will help define Phyxius’ charter brokerage process, including intake, quoting, sourcing, contracting, trip management, billing handoff, and post-flight follow-up.You will use approved Marketing-created materials when representing Phyxius externally and ensure all communication aligns with brand, service, and compliance standards.You will provide Marketing with feedback on objections, common questions, lead quality, client needs, operator feedback, and market opportunities.You will support business development through events, referral channels, partner relationships, and targeted outreach across charter brokerage, advisory/management, and MRO.You will comply with company policies, applicable laws, confidentiality expectations, and charter brokerage requirements.What You’ll NeedYou have 5+ years of experience in Part 135 charter brokerage, private aviation sales, or comparable complex travel sales for high-net-worth or corporate clients.You have a portable book of business or transferable client network that can be activated and expanded. This is required.You have proven ability to acquire clients, manage complex travel requests, build trusted relationships, and move opportunities through a sales process.You are comfortable managing CRM activity, with HubSpot experience preferred.You communicate clearly in writing and verbally, including quotes, proposals, client emails, and follow-up materials.You are detail-oriented, responsive, and comfortable supporting client needs during evenings, weekends, holidays, and urgent-response windows.You are aligned with Phyxius’ values: safety first, always; service excellence; ownership; honest communication; and vision.Strongly PreferredYou have direct Part 135 charter brokerage experience and working knowledge of 14 CFR Part 295.You are based in metro Atlanta and can be present at KLZU for team collaboration, client meetings, events, and partner meetings.You have experience with charter sourcing platforms, operator vetting, ARGUS, WYVERN, IS-BAO, or comparable safety standards.You have established relationships with Southeast Part 135 operators, FBOs, aircraft owners, private aviation clients, and referral partners.You have an FAA Aircraft Dispatcher Certificate, pilot certificate, or other aviation credential.Compensation and BenefitsPhyxius offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped commission.Commission upside scales with activated relationships, new business, repeat bookings, margin discipline, and contribution to the growth of the brokerage function.Standard benefits, including medical, dental, and 401(k), will be discussed at offer stage.How to ApplySubmit your resume to christina@phyxiusaircraft.com and a cover letter outlining your charter brokerage, private aviation sales, or complex travel sales experience; the client segments or operator relationships you know best; and the book of business or transferable network you expect to activate and grow.
