KBR’s areas of expertise include engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT and cybersecurity.\n\nRoles and Responsibilities\n\n Analyzes program activities: acquisition program planning, proposal pricing, financial management, cost analysis, management techniques, and documentation requirements.\n\nCompiles and reviews budgets against actual performance, previous budget figures, estimated revenue, and other data sources to control budgets and provide proper financial decisions.\n\nAids in developing and implementing strategies to achieve program objectives safely and within agreed time, cost, technical, quality, and other performance criteria.\n\nParticipates in the control of costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system. Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.\n\nEnsures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.\n\nDevelops plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for several major portions of a program.\n\nHas advanced expertise in DOD, Agency, and/or industry standards and engineering requirements, advises colleagues on interpretation of standards within the context of Group’s contract objectives.\n\nImpacts the direction and resource allocation for program, project or services; works within general Divisional/Group policies and industry guidelines.\n\nCommunicates complex ideas, anticipates potential objections, and persuades others, often at senior levels, to influence decisions.\n\nAnticipates internal and or external business challenges and/or regulatory/ compliance issues; recommends process, product or service improvements.\n\nMay conduct operational effectiveness reviews to ensure functional or project systems are applied as designed, and function satisfactorily\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\n7-10 Years of Program Management Experience\n\n5+ Years of Program Management Experience in Aerospace/Defense\n\nBachelor’s Degree in Related Field\n\nMust be a US citizen\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\n Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification\n\nMaster’s Degree in Related Field\n\nKBR Benefits\n\nKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
