Candidates will perform all of the basic machinery functions for the familiarization with equipment and tooling in the production of fasteners, follow work instruction processes and keep work area clean and organized.\n\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\n\nStarts, stops, and feeds the machines and monitors for imperfect operation.\nPerform basic tool adjustments and clean up of machines\nGrip and operate various hand tools\nFollow 6-S principles\nPerforms Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks per specification\nAbility to understand and measure parts using appropriate measuring tools and blueprints\nAbility to use and analyze micrometers, calipers and all other measuring devices\nMeets and maintains productivity levels and quality requirements in support of departmental standards, goals, and schedules.\nADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nAlways work in a safe manner, understanding safety and quality are priority\nFill out any required paperwork\nUse of computer systems\nPerforms other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS:\n\nPhysically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, and reach\nAble to lift up to 50 lbs.\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nBasic mathematic skills to include the use of decimals and fractions\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nPunctual, reliable, and team-oriented\nEquivalent 6+ months of manufacturing experience\nENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURES:\n\nNoise – Laboratory machines.\nChemicals, oils, acids, sprays, coolants and solvents.\nNoise – heavy machinery – if in plant.\nNoise – vibratory bowls and air feed systems – if in plant.\nResponsible for complying with regulations and standards covered under MISOSHA as well as not damaging, moving, interfering or removed any safety related item that is provided.\nCONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT\n\nTraining to be completed annually\nPlease refer to training matrix\nRelyans Max es un empleador que ofrece igualdad de oportunidades a personas calificadas y no discrimina por motivos de raza, color, religión, sexo, origen nacional, edad, discapacidad, condición de veterano o cualquier otro motivo protegido por las leyes federales, estatales o locales aplicables.
