Conducts preventative maintenance and identifies parts for replacement.\n\nPRINCIPAL OUTCOMES / ACCOUNTABILITIES\nSafety, Sustainability & Quality\n\nSupport a proactive HS&E culture by:\nRole modelling safe work behavior\nTaking reasonable care for his or her own health and safety and that of others in the\nworkplace\n\nComplying with any reasonable instruction, policy and/or procedure\nPromptly reporting safety and environmental hazards and incidents\n\nEssential Duties\n\nTest electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, using testing devices\nEffectively use ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.\nInspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards.\nAssemble, install, test and maintain electrical and electronic equipment.\nDiagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment\nand hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.\n\nWork with DC to 480-volt 3 phase electrical systems and check for 13000 volts and how to disconnect safely.\nCarry out preventive maintenance per the schedule and work instructions provided\nWork from ladders, power platforms, and roof.\nKeep work area clean and clear after maintenance completed.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE\nQualifications:\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\nMust have Electronic Technician certification or Vocational/Technical college relevant experience (Passing Electronics Test)\nExperience:\n\n1-2 years in industrial maintenance or similar setting\nThree phase motors with 220v and 480v or hire voltage\nExperience with13000v preferred\nTesting of electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using test devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system\nSkills and Knowledge:\n\nAble to read electrical blueprints\nKnowledge of building and safety codes\nAble to read and interpret work instructions and requirements/specifications\nKnowledge of machinery repairs i.e., motors, gear boxes, controls, etc.\nAble to occasionally lift 50 lbs.
