This role is responsible for driving revenue growth while managing both inbound and outbound sales activities, including requests for quotations/proposals, technical inquiries, and customer service communications. The Sales Manager will oversee Inside Sales and Order Entry functions, ensuring accurate cost estimating, margin setting, timely proposal development and CRM management. This individual will also play a key role in developing strategic sales plans, mentoring a team of sales professionals, and maintaining strong relationships with customers, OEMs, and channel partners. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in material handling systems, capital equipment, or automation solutions, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following Plans, organizes, directs, and controls all activities related to inside sales, order entry and communication. Directs daily activity related to processing RFQ’s (Requests for Quotation) for standard and non-standard products and services including the review of RFQ applications for feasibility, assignment of internal resources, and customer commitments. Directs activities related to processing orders to ensure customer satisfaction. Directs activities related to the development of proposals on all Company products and services. Establishes standards of performance for cost estimating, quoting, order entry, order processing and customer support and meets standards.Deliver goals, objectives, and performance evaluations to subordinates as driven by organization’s annual strategic plan. Directs activities related to re-seller support of daily activities involving quoting and order management. Creates and maintains relative process documentation and work instructions. Other duties as assigned.Supervisory Responsibilities Direct management of the Cost & Estimating DepartmentQualifications & Requirements Proven management & leadership skills including a servant leadership approach inside and outside areas of direct responsibility. Working technical knowledge of company products Industry knowledge of the application of company products Basic knowledge of electrical controls Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products Ability to navigate and work within the company’s ERP and CRM software Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to build relationships and relate to distributors and end-use customers. A passion for leadership and a passion for LogistiQ’s business. Knowledge of product design and shop floor processes as required to estimate product cost. Knowledge of fundamental calculations supporting product design. Excellent people skills as required for customer interaction and to team with other LogistiQ personnel in meeting customer expectations. Ability to write and analyze reports. Must be fluent to read and write in English. Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics. Individuals in this position must be able to analyze data and perform basic engineering calculations. Successful completion of 90-day probationary periodComputer SkillsMust be proficient at Microsoft Office products and possess adequate skill to navigate and work within company’s ERP and CRM software. Excellent typing skills are required. Basic understanding of CAD packages as needed to clarify customer RFQ’s. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit. Employee spends some time on manufacturing floor.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is pleasant, temperature controlled, professional office environment in a manufacturing setting. The employee works in an office setting but does have frequent interaction with the shop floor. On the shop floor, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is mixed and the air temperature fluctuates with the seasonal weather.
