High-volume EmergencyDepartment in a 500+ bed acute care hospital in Atlantis, FL (Palm BeachCounty) seeks board-certified EM physicians for flexible locum coverage. Annual Volume: ~88,000 visits at mainED; total network >130,000 including associated freestanding ERs. Patients Per Hour: 2–3 PPH (mix of highand low acuity). Shifts: 12-hour (7a-7p / 7p-7a);day/night options. Support: 70+ hours physician coveragedaily + 30 hours APP; full specialist backup; EMR: Meditech. Beds: 78-bed ED with fast track. Associated Freestanding ERs: Twolocations (Boynton Beach & Palm Beach Gardens) – potential for shifts;similar 24/7 services with on-site imaging/lab. Requirements BC/BE in Emergency Medicine.
