As a key member of the team, the engineer will lead or contribute to the architecture and design of software solutions while collaborating closely with customers, stakeholders, and development teams. The role supports a wide range of software development activities, including:\nRequirements analysis and technical solutioning, System and application architecture design, Detailed software design and development, Implementation, testing, and debugging, Integration and ongoing system support for new and existing applications\nThe ideal candidate is a collaborative problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working across the full technology stack.\nDevelop and maintain high-performance Angular, React, and Vue front-end components\nDesign, architect, and maintain web applications, software support, and debugging\nDevelop reusable UI components and front-end libraries\nIntegrate front-end applications with backend services and third-party APIs\nWork with Okta or other Similar Authentication services\nWork on AWS services, specifically AWS Lambda and AWS ECS\nDevelop and deploy serverless backend services with AWS Lambda using NodeJS and/or Python\nBe able to lead/work independently on front end Application development\nInterface with senior-level customer management and SMEs\nResolve complex design, implementation, and/or performance issues.\nWork with the Information Security Organization to ensure that the developed solutions meet all security requirements.\nSupport all development and delivery activities, from requirements definition and specification to deployment and delivery to production.\nConsult with project teams and end users to identify new requirements; identify areas for improvement.\nRequirements:\nBachelor's degree in computer science, or substitute eight years of additional equivalent work experience\n8+ years of development experience\n4+ years of recent Angular 17+ and NodeJS experience\n3+ years of experience with Oracle and/or PostgreSQL\nExperience with Web applications, REST API development, and deployment\nExperienced in Microservice design and development\nStrong experience in scripting using Linux and other CLI tools\nStrong interpersonal communication skills to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with development teams and customers\nDesired Skills & Qualifications\nExperience with Serverless architecture\nExperience with recent Java & Spring Boot development experience\nProficiency with cloud technologies (AWS strongly preferred)\nExperience in applying Agile/Scrum methodology\nNode.js\nAngular\nPython\nDatabase migration experience\nNice to have Skills & Qualifications\nDesign, develop, test, and integrate custom Java applications, developing innovative, scalable, and secure enterprise custom applications.\nDesign, develop, and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases\nUse Linux environments and shell scripts for maintenance and debugging\nAdditional Information\nTo meet the clearance requirements for this opportunity, candidates must be authorized to work in the US\nAll candidates will be subject to a complete background check, including, but not limited to, Criminal History, Education Verification, Professional Certification Verification, Verification of Previous Employment, and Credit History.\nPublic Trust background investigations can take approximately four to eight weeks and require fingerprinting.\nOther Information\nWork Environment: Flexible/remote.\nThe salary for this position is $105,000 - $160,000 annually\nBenefits: SFI offers a comprehensive benefits package.
