This role ensures that all business-critical applications are reliable, secure, and aligned with organizational goals. The manager will lead vendor engagement, collaborate with business stakeholders, and drive continuous improvement in software solutions and processes.\n\nWhat you will be doing:\n\nEnterprise Software Leadership: Lead the design, development, and deployment of enterprise software solutions and core business systems, ensuring alignment with Ecovyst’s strategic objectives.\nOperational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day operations of enterprise applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across SAP and integrated platforms.\nBusiness Collaboration: Partner with business units to translate organizational needs into technical requirements and system enhancements, particularly for SAP ECC and related modules.\nIntegration Management: Manage software integration projects to ensure seamless communication between diverse platforms and technologies, including SAP, and other Ecovyst systems.\nCompliance and Security: Implement governance for sensitive access, segregation of duties (SOD), and compliance with internal audit standards. Support remediation projects and role redesign initiatives.\nContinuous Improvement: Conduct regular system audits, implement upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities to maintain system integrity and performance.\nVendor and Partner Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and external partners for system acquisition, support, and issue resolution.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.\nMinimum 8–10 years of experience in enterprise software management, including SAP environments.\nStrong background in system integration, compliance, and IT governance.\nProven experience in managing large-scale software projects and cross-functional teams. Familiarity with cloud platforms and hybrid architectures.\nKnowledge of cybersecurity principles and data privacy regulations.\nProficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) to optimize operational workflows.\nComprehensive understanding of database management systems, including experience with SQL and data modeling.\nHands-on experience with DevOps practices, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and version control systems such as Git.\nSelf-starting personality; ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously; ability to work independently and make decisions.\nStrong strategic and analytical skills, able to envision multiple alternatives for a complex set of business decisions and foster critical evaluations of alternatives.\nWilling to take initiative and rely on personal skills to achieve results.\nAbility to allocate resources appropriately to meet group and corporate objectives.\nExcellent multi-project management skills with a sense of urgency and the ability to perform under tight time pressures required.\nAbility to negotiate to mutually acceptable outcomes.
