Site Safety Representative

FDRsafety is seeking a Site Safety Representative to oversee a construction project in Chantilly, VA. This position is anticpated to start immediately and will last approximately 6 months on a Monday-Friday dayshift schedule for 40 hours/week. This individual will be responsible for providing toolbox talks, site walkthroughs, inspections, auditing, assisting, and advising management of their findings daily for a single site location. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Management, or related field OR BCSP certification (ASP, CHST, or CSP) or similar certification preferred. Candidates must have an OSHA 30 Hour in Construction Certification. Candidates must have a First-Aid/CPR/AED certificate. Candidates should have 5+ years of construction safety experience as a lead with the proven ability to identify workable solutions to eliminate hazards. Strong background in constructions procedures and processes. Experience with electrical safety, cranes, rigging, confined space, and forklift safety is required.
