We offer full service Electrical, Controls System Engineering, and Construction Management services in the US and abroad.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nActs as a Construction Observer on Substation and/or Transmission Line construction projects performed by contractors.\nVerifies all work performed by the prime construction contractor complies with client construction standards and the engineering prints.\nCaptures any field changes to the design.\nHelps contractor answer questions on drawings, request information from engineering, coordinating, and sign off on material deliveries\nEnsures the constructor uses the proper materials in the proper place on the Project.\nShall take all precautions to protect the Company's equipment, materials and customers and be a good representative for the Company.\nAdditional Job Details\nResponsible for Inspections of installation work quality.\nDirects interaction with customers to ensure swift issue resolution and a positive customer experience.\nInvestigates field concerns and technical questions that arise during deployment\nProvides training support.\nRequirements:\nMinimum of (5) or more years’ experience in Field Construction activities related to Electric Utility Systems.\nExperience with ArcGIS\nRelevant experience in the Electrical Utilities Construction field\nUnderstanding of Electrical Drawings\nUnderstanding of Safe Work Practices\nUnderstanding of Electrical Working Clearances and identify Energized Components.\nResponsible for providing own transportation to perform the job.\nA strong construction background is required.\nWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package.\nExcel Engineering is focused on cultivating a high performing culture where a service-oriented approach, continuous improvement, and goal orientation are valued.
