Quality Inspector

Quality InspectorA large manufacturing company has an opening for a Quality Inspector to help establish the quality functions to be followed by the employees. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.Job Duties:Watch over all aspects of parts incoming, in-process, and final inspection and represent the company in all quality mattersRead blueprints and have a working knowledge of the machining symbols associated with the finishes and dimension that pertain to finishing machined partsDecide what pieces of inspection equipment they need and be able to use the available tooling to inspect the machined part to the respective blueprintWork with Faro Arm and CMM knowledge of ISO and AS9100 RequirementsOperate the cranes to load the parts on to the set up to achieve final inspection on the finished partUse calipers, micrometers, gage blocks, and any other available inspection equipment to inspect and record work for later reviewKeep area clean and clutter free for safetyPerform other duties as assigned
