Position: Social Worker, Women’s Residential TreatmentLocation: Fayette, OHClassification: Full-Time, ExemptGENERAL SUMMARY: The dual counselor is responsible for oversite of a caseload specific to their program site and population served within that program. The dual counselor conducts assessments rendering a diagnosis and treatment recommendations for their client caseload and develops treatment goals in collaboration with the client. Additionally, the dual counselor is responsible for the provision of individual counseling and group counseling that is specific to their site. Finally, the dual counselor takes on a lead role in collaborating care with other providers and the RSNWO treatment team.Principal Duties And ResponsibilitiesConducts a dual diagnosis assessment on clients and provides appropriate treatment recommendations based on client needs. Develops treatment goals in collaboration with the client and reviews treatment goals while collaborating with the client as accreditation standards require. Engages the client in and facilitates individual, group and family counseling services in accordance with ethical standards. Maintains documentation that meets medical necessity and accurately reflects the client’s engagement with service providers. Ensures documentation is entered into the medical record in a manner that is timely and in accordance with ethical and accreditation standards.Completes and submits billing for services in a manner that is timely and ethical.Participates in site clinical staffing times and appropriately reviews assessment findings and recommendations with site supervisors.Maintains state licensure and/or certification. Conducts timely renewal to ensure there is not a lapse in licensure and/or certification.Follows policy and procedures and workflows of Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio. Actively seeks out supervision of site supervisor when there are questions related to policy and procedures and workflows.Meets productivity standard.Minimum QualificationsWill be a LSW, LPC, MFT through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapy Board – or – Will be a LCDC II or LCDC III through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board. Will possess a bachelor’s degree in social work or other helping profession that is eligible for licensure. May possess a master’s degree in social work, counseling or other helping profession that is eligible for licensure.Possess training and experience within the substance use and mental health field. Possess a valid driver’s license.Subject to a pre-employment background check, drug screen, and reference checks.
