Your primary responsibilities will include:\nIn this role, you will:\nPatient care & radiation safety: Provide exceptional care and contribute to a high-quality IR program with a focus on safety\nAdvanced IR procedures: Perform complex IR procedures and fluoroscopy, including 3D spin, VR, and subtraction for a variety of exams.\nClinical support & training: Assist Lead IR Technologists with training, clinical initiatives, and quality control.\nInventory management: Maintain IR supplies and ensure appropriate inventory levels.\nSterile preparation: Ensure sterile technique and proper preparation of IR trays.\n\nWorkflow coordination: Manage daily workflow, including accommodating procedural add-ons.\nDepartment collaboration: Work closely with Recovery Room, CT, and Ultrasound teams for procedural coordination.\nSafe patient transport: Move patients safely throughout the facility using proper body mechanics.\nTeam culture: Promote a positive, team-oriented environment.\nEffective communication: Coordinate clearly with IR physicians and ancillary staff.\nScheduling efficiency: Collaborate with IR physicians to ensure patients are scheduled and seen on time.\nRegulatory compliance: Stay current on licenses and meet continuing education and compliance standards (HIPAA, ACR, AAAASF, etc.).\nProfessional conduct: Maintain attendance, punctuality, and protect patient confidentiality.\nOperational support: Help with clerical duties and clean equipment per infection control standards.\nEquipment troubleshooting: Identify and report equipment issues promptly.\nMultitasking under pressure: Handle multiple priorities and problem-solve in high-stress situations.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\nQualifications:\nARRT registered and in good standing; advanced registry preferred (CT, MRI, IR)\nMinimum 1 year of Cath Lab/IR experience required\nProficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, RIS, PACS, and EMR systems\nBLS certification required\nSkilled in operating fluoroscopic equipment\nStrong communication skills across all levels of staff and patients\nSkills & Experience:\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nStrong organizational and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient care\nProficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred\nAbility to provide compassionate care in a fast-paced environment\nAttention to detail, maintaining professionalism and high standards of care\nAdditional Requirements:\nReliable transportation to travel to NYI locations as needed\nPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, bend, and sit for prolonged periods\nWhat We Offer:\nSalary up to $60/hour\nHealth insurance starting Day 1 (Medical, Dental, Vision)\nLife Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability\n401(k) Plan\nGenerous Paid Time Off\n8 Paid Holidays (including 2 floating days)\nAnd more!\nJoin Us Today!\nBecome part of a dynamic team at NYI that’s revolutionizing diagnostic care.
