On premise and cloud.\nDocument processes to support audits, define MOPs, and transfer knowledge.\nRemediate vulnerabilities and manage hardware lifecycle replacements.\nDesign and administer alerting and monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Thousand Eyes, PRTG).\nDevelop automation for redundant tasks to optimize operations and implementations.\nAid in defining and predicting network health, availability, and service-level objectives.\nProactively identify and resolve network trends and performance issues.\nDrive operational efficiency by evaluating, improving, and automating processes, procedures, and systems.\nMinimum Requirements:\n3+ years of experience working in a network environment supporting routing and switching functions.\n1+ years of professional software development experience automating system processes is a plus.\nPreferred Skills/Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or CCNA Certification, CCIE, and/or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certifications.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred, but GCP and Azure also acceptable).\nUnderstanding of switches, routers, firewalls, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, ISIS, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, LACP, MPLS, dual stack (IPv4 & IPv6), IP addressing, and IP network design.\nKnowledge of Ethernet, fiber optics, 802.1Q VLANs, VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding), IPSEC (Internet Protocol Security), ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure), and VxLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN).\nStrong analytical and communication skills, including handling customer critical issues and resolutions.\nExperience using networking tools such as Thousand Eyes and SolarWinds.\nAutomation skills with technologies like IBM Cloud Pak, AWX Tower, Bash, and/or Python.\nA proactive approach to identifying the best solutions.\nCertifications from other networking or cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure) or performance monitoring tools.\nMore CISCO certifications are a plus: CCNP, CCIE.\nAdvanced understanding of complex network topologies and architectures.
