Lawn Care Technician ILocation: Brooklyn Heights, OHPay: $19.00 - 27.00/hr. (based on experience)Up to $10K in bonuses! (weekly, monthly and annual bonus potential)Schedule: Full-TimeDescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEWAssists with chemical application services to enhance growth, development, and vigor of both newly installed and existing lawns and commits to increasing sales by re-enrolling existing customer contracts through exceptional customer service and pursuing new customer contractsEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesMixes and applies both granulated and liquid materials safely and preciselyMaintains accurate records and works closely with the Crew Leader or Service Manager to ensure proper customer records are kept on all applications for billing and non-billing purposesProvides both written and verbal lawn analysis quotes to potential customers along with recommendations to improve the quality of the customer's lawnDevelops comprehensive and individualized customer specific care plans to maintain lawnPursues new customer contracts and re-enrollment of existing customersMaintains a clean and safe work site including proper maintenance and care of all company equipmentPromotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practicesPosition may perform other duties as assignedRequirementsEducation, Knowledge & ExperienceMinimum 1 year landscape industry experience requiredDegree in Turf Grass Management, Horticulture, or related field preferredSkills & QualificationsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to perform all aspects of landscape tasks in a safe mannerAbility to manage multiple priorities/tasksAbility to execute proper judgment and decision-making skillsAttention to detail in all responsibilities and dutiesWORKING CONDITIONS & EMPLOYMENT STATUSWORK ENVIRONMENTOutdoor conditionsExtended work hours during peak seasonsRequires substantial physical activity performing strenuous activities of a productive and technical nature; regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions of extreme heat and extreme cold; consistent exposure to loud noise; potential exposure to air pollution, allergens, dust, pollen, insects, and other potentially harmful naturally occurring hazards; continuous exposure to moving mechanical parts and sharp objectReady to Apply?If you're an experienced Lawn Care Technician I, Turf Care Specialist, or Lawn Care Applicator looking for a stable role with room to grow, we'd love to hear from you.Apply today and take the next step in your lawn care career.
