The Solutions Developer L1 position analyzes user requirements, develops, generates test plans, tests, and executes the platform design, as well as provides on-going support and maintenance on assigned platforms. We offer tailored data driven decisioning technology solutions that empower our clients to streamline processes, increase flexibility and efficiency, accelerate growth, while accessing hundreds of cutting-edge data sources to help reduce risk.\nEssential Job Functions:\nPerform with a service-focused mindset with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality products and services.\nAnalyze and fully understand project requirements and design to formulate and implement effective and efficient solutions.\nUse Zoot Tools and Services to develop and maintain client software in accordance with client specifications, capabilities, best practices, design patterns, and microservices.\nPerform unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to verify code meets specifications and requirements.\nConduct production environment research, monitoring, and problem solving in collaboration with Service Desk and other team members to ensure functioning software.\nProvide reliable solutions to a variety of problems using sound problem solving techniques.\nDevelop an understanding of Zoot systems components and dependencies, to ensure that project code is fully integrated with other aspects of a platform.\nDevelop an understanding of how to use Zoot Tools and Services to develop and maintain client software in accordance with client specifications, capabilities, best practices, design patterns, and microservices while maintaining a high degree of quality.\nDevelop an understanding of Zoot’s distributed system and services as well as transactional flow.\nDevelop an understanding of Zoot Capabilities and support solution types to support the project team, Service Desk, and the client.\nKnow and comply with Zoot’s Policies and Procedures, Code of Business Conduct, and Employee Agreement.\nAchieve a service-focused culture with emphasis on delivering on-time, high-quality products and services to internal and external customers.\nOther duties as assigned – it is understood that this list of major duties and responsibilities is not an all-inclusive list and that other duties and responsibilities, which may include helping others in the same or different departments, may be assigned by supervision.\nEducation, Training, and Experience Requirements:\nHigh School Diploma\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, Finance, or an equal combination of education and experience.\nBackground Check Requirement:\nAbility to successfully pass background screening.\nPhysical Requirements:\nAll positions at Zoot require the ability to move about inside an office environment which includes the operation of computers and other office productivity machinery and frequently communicates with other employees, clients, vendors, and visitors. This position specifically requires long periods of sitting at a computer workstation.\nWorking Conditions | Work Hours | Location:\nThis position will take place primarily in an office setting. To optimize team performance, the workspace for this position is typically a cubicle setting in an open space environment. It is expected that exempt employees, and specifically this position, regularly and consistently report to work on-site, at Zoot headquarters, during normal business hours. Occasional nighttime and weekend work is required within the position. This position may occasionally require travel.
