{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d2feccaa0df263091b42e08b","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d2feccaa0df263091b42e08b","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d2feccaa0df263091b42e08b","title":"Quality Control Inspector - First Shift","description":"Volt is immediately hiring for Direct Hire Quality Control Inspector (1st and 2nd shift available) in Camarillo, CA.\n\nAs a Quality Control Inspector, you will:\n\nPerform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to verify product quality and compliance.\nInspect raw materials, components, and finished goods against specifications and quality standards.\nDocument inspection results and initiate nonconformance reports when quality issues are identified.\nSupport investigations and corrective actions related to product or process deviations.\nComplete and maintain accurate quality records in accordance with GMP and internal requirements.\nUtilize measuring equipment such as calipers, gauges, rulers, and other inspection tools.\nReview production and quality documentation prior to product release.\nAssist with quality reporting, metrics tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nFollow all safety procedures and wear required PPE in controlled manufacturing environments.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain product quality and regulatory compliance\n\nThis is a full-time opportunity.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have:\n\nHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.\nMinimum 3 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of GMP requirements and quality documentation practices.\nExperience using precision measuring and inspection tools, including calipers and gauges.\nAbility to identify, document, and communicate quality issues effectively.\nStrong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.\nBasic computer proficiency and experience working with electronic records or quality systems.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively on a team.\n\nPreferred Skills & Qualifications\n\nExperience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated manufacturing environments.\nFamiliarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and FDA-regulated manufacturing standards.\nExperience supporting corrective actions, nonconformance investigations, or root cause analysis.\nWorking knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Syteline.\nExposure to sterilization, irradiation, or similar controlled manufacturing processes\n\nPay rate: $24-25 per hour.\n\nPay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.\n\nQualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
