Job Title: Operations SupervisorLocation: Kitzmiller, MDDuration: Fulltime, permanentSchedule: 40 hrs/weekPay Rate: $40 to $45/hr, DOE Required Qualifications:Minimum 5 years of solar experienceStrong inverter troubleshooting expertisePrior supervisory experienceSCADA system experienceSAP or similar system experienceValid driver’s license and clean driving recordJob Responsibilities:50% - Technical Leadership:Lead technical teams by overseeing their execution of daily maintenance and repair work plans to the expected performance standard, safety, and scheduleEnsure effective communications between field technicians and the operations managerAssist the operations manager with the performance of QC assessments of work by the technical teamServe as the technical expert in troubleshooting and resolving complex repairs, check the quality of work execution, and coach the less skilled team members on the assigned tasksAct as a lead and assist field technicians with HV operationsExecute scheduled & unscheduled maintenance of generating assets, including BOP and SCADA communicationsSuccessfully perform switching at substations, substation inspections, and maintenance activities40% - Operational Management Support:Support operations manager with planning and allocation of available resources and reevaluation of maintenance priorities to maximize facility output while minimizing costsConduct inventory management activities including research associated with spare parts and specialty tools needsAssist with creating, reviewing, and approving management reports, Work Requests, and performing TECO transactionsAssist operations manager with all safety aspects at the site, including performing periodic safety walks to drive the highest safety standards and safety complianceDrive continuous improvement and performance improvement campaigns projects to improve operational KPIsAct as a backup responsibility to the Operations Manager10% - Other duties as assigned
