{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d2fb2de0f11fcfdd71ffc244","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d2fb2de0f11fcfdd71ffc244","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d2fb2de0f11fcfdd71ffc244","title":"Quality Control Technician","description":"Quality Control Technician – Remote Operating Company: Environmental Solutions Group – 3rd Eye\nReports To: Sr Manager, Installations, 3rd Eye\nResponsibilities Perform post‑installation quality assessments of 3rd Eye products (onboard computers, external cameras, monitors, radar systems, and vehicle cabling) on‑site and remotely to verify accuracy, functionality, and adherence to company standards.\nDocument installation gaps and deliver clear, actionable deficiency reports to Project Managers and field technicians to drive timely resolution.\nDevelop, document, and maintain installation procedures and quality audit standards that improve consistency and accuracy across the 3rd Eye partner network.\nCompile periodic data‑driven quality reports, summarize performance against standards, and highlight trends to inform process improvements.\nCollaborate cross‑functionally, including visiting customer sites in the waste and recycling industry, to reinforce best practices and represent the brand professionally.\nConduct visual inspections, provide end‑user instructions, present findings in written or verbal formats, and travel as needed to customer sites and industry events.\nAttend required training sessions and workshops, and may lead sessions where appropriate. Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental objectives.\nQualifications Associate’s degree, technical certification, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience (including 3 years of 3rd Eye installations can substitute for certification).\nMinimum of five (5) years of combined experience in automotive systems, commercial electronics, and/or waste and recycling vehicle environments.\nHands‑on experience with 12‑volt automotive systems (minimum two years). Experience with commercial trucks, waste and recycling vehicles, and light‑duty passenger vehicles (minimum two years).\nProficiency with electronic testing tools, including voltmeters, power probes, and test lights.\nStrong ability to work independently while following direction in a remote environment; self‑motivated, proactive, and team‑oriented with a strong work ethic.\nExcellent interpersonal and communication skills for professional customer interactions via phone and in person.\nProficiency with smartphones and/or Android tablets for reporting and documentation; advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; Salesforce experience preferred.\nStrong attention to detail and disciplined documentation and note‑taking.\nValid driver’s license and ability to maintain insurable and bondable status.\nBenefits Competitive salary, paid vacation, 401(k), medical, dental, and vision coverage.\nTerex Corporation is an Equal Opportunity Employer and affirmative action employer.
