Work together to win.RequirementsCollaborate with electrical engineers, mechanical design, and manufacturing teams to mitigate obsolescence or reliable component utilization within applicationCreate and maintain the company’s component data base, create new components in accordance with design engineer requirements, find & create substitute parts for obsolete components and long lead itemsEvaluate and test components to make sure they meet the product needs and produce test reports in an ISO9000 environment. Design and build test jigs, fixture in case component sorting is required; pair transistors, opto-couplers gain sorting.Handle component changes due to obsolescence or supply chain shortages - Assist with location of component sources vendors and manufacturers, locate alternate sources, find components substitutions along with qualification strategy to include multi-vendor sourcing.Participate in Electrical/Electronic/Electromechanical (EEE) Parts Engineering technical assignments related to design, manufacturing and testing. Assignments will include support of manufacturing issues/concerns. Ability to operate and control the units under test with analog and digital interfaces.Support Purchasing Department, Production, Incoming Inspection and Sales Department for inquiries on matters pertaining to KEPCO components.Experience Essentials And Skills (In Detail)3-7 years’ experienceAssociates degree required; Bachelors’ preferredVersed in electro-mechanical and electronic component selection and specifications Knowledge of design, manufacturing, materials, and processes for assembly.Experience with power electronics parts bench and in unit testing, failure analysis, and non-conformance resolution.Understanding of ERP, product and document management specification and their role in the product development and on revision controlKnowledge and experience in working with lab instruments.Work with minimal supervision, able to multitask, excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentGeneral Notices Process Technology is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
