No matter where you are, we welcome applicants from all time zones.\nWhat You'll Do\nUnderstand Vault infrastructure architecture to test infra changes utilizing AWS/Kubernetes/Docker experience\nSetup/maintain/test/improve infrastructure test environment\nDevelop and contribute to test strategy for Infrastructure features including Zero downtime upgrades/HA/DR etc.\nCreate testing-related documentation, including test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports assessing quality and associated risk\nPerform QA activities such as test execution, bug verifications, triage automation results, etc., and verify outcomes within release milestones\nApply your programming skills toward automating and optimizing the testing of cloud-based Infrastructure\nBuild, maintain, and improve the existing automation framework, test harness, and processes\nContribute to technical discussions during design/implementation reviews and influence decisions that will help build quality into the product from the get-go\nHelp with hiring, onboarding, and mentoring other team members by providing guidance, feedback, etc.\nWork closely with product managers, software engineers, and other QA engineers\nRequirements\nWork in the nearest Veeva office four days/week\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related technical field\nExperience with white-box testing or Infrastructure Validation (Deployment, HA, DR, etc.)\nExperience with cloud infrastructure technologies such as AWS EC2, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, Load balancers, IAM, EKS, and other AWS services\nExperience in one or more of the following languages: Java, C#, Javascript, Python, Bash/Shell\nExperience in developing infrastructure automation strategies\nExperience supporting multiple features in a fast-paced environment with sometimes competing priorities\nProvide technical leadership to junior teammates and QA team members, enabling them to achieve targeted automation goals\nExperience with code coverage tools and metrics\nStrong verbal and written communication skills\nExperience with some of the following tools/technologies:\nData Analytics & Reporting: ELK Stack, Cloudwatch, Prometheus\nConfiguration Management: Ansible, Terraform, Chef, CloudFormation, or similar tools\nOther Tools: GitLab, GitHub\nNice to Have\nExperience with one or more industry-standard unit/functional test frameworks (JUnit, TestNg, Cucumber, etc.)\nExperience with Atlassian products e.g., Jira, Confluence\nExperience in a SaaS environment that has an agile development process\nExperience working with remote teams\nExperience working in the Health Sciences and Life Sciences industry\nPerks & Benefits\nMedical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance\nFlexible PTO and company paid holidays\nRetirement programs\n1% charitable giving program\nCompensation\nBase pay: $65,000 - $140,000\nThe salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role.
