At Progress Rail, the team is not just building the future of rail—they are making history every day.\n\nKey Job Elements\n\nReceive, identify, and unload materials/parts and store in inventory;\nIdentifies, draws from inventory, and transports material, parts and equipment to and from assembly\nareas, machines, loading docks and other areas;\nFamiliarizes self with different work areas to assure prompt delivery and adequate supply of required\nitems, while keeping material organized and keeping production stocked with material;\nAbility to clearly communicate and document the processing of incoming and outgoing;\nOperate industrial forklift, pallet jack, mobile equipment and/or overhead cranes to perform material\nhandling assignments;\nMust be able to deliver urgent items to the production floor consistently, accurately, and safely;\nAble to clearly communicate the tracking of incoming parts and relay this to management quickly,\nconsistently, and accurately;\nFollow verbal or written work instructions, standards and or QWI’s consistently, accurately, and safely.\n\nEducation / Training\n\nRequired:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent;\n\nQualifications and Experience\n\nPreferred:\nForklift Certified.\n\nBenefits\n\nCompensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience.
