Check us out -> https://terzoenterprises.com/\n\nWe are a logistics company that focuses on the repair, refurbishment, and re-manufacturing of pallets.\n\nWhy Terzo Enterprises?\n\nComprehensive benefits plan\nPositive environment, team-oriented\n6 paid holidays (after 90 days of employment)\nIndoor steady work, year-round!\n\nSUMMARY:\n\nThe Machine Operator is responsible for inspecting and separating pallets into different grades and placing them in the appropriate area ready to be picked up by the forklift in a manner that meets Terzo Enterprises standards for safety, security, and productivity, in addition to adhering to the quality criteria.\n\nWork Schedule: Friday–Monday\n\nFriday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM\nSaturday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM\nSunday: 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM\nMonday: 5:30 AM – 11:00 AM\n\nThe first two weeks will be 1st shift for training\n\nPay rate: $20.00 per hour\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nComply with all safety procedures at all times while performing job duties using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).\nMust be able to operate automated sortation equipment effectively and safely.\nInspect pallets at a rate that meets company and safety standards safely and securely.\nMachine Operator manually guides 70 lbs. pallets from an automated indexer onto a conveyor system. Visually inspects pallets and determines the level of repair needed.\nEnsure that proper inspection and separation of pallets are met, while achieving company expectations.\nMaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:\n\nMust be able to follow the inspection process.\nMust be able to work at a steady, fast pace.\nBasic Math Skills required\n\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n\nMust be able to lift and move 70-80 pounds repetitively\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of time (at least 2 hours straight, four times in an 8-hour day).\nAble to twist, stoop, squat, reach above shoulder level and crouch on a frequent basis.\nAble to use hands and feet simultaneously and perform repetitive movements.\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\n\nThe work environment consists of occasional extreme temperature shifts ranging from very cold to very hot. Exposure to dust and loud noise (hearing protection is provided). Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and moving forklifts.
