The Material Handler has the responsibility to unload and receive products from our suppliers, deliver and return product from production, operations and warehouse location, and load/ship product to our customers.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\n\nSafely drive forklift and maintain valid certification.\nUsing a forklift, unload/load product per IEWC shipping/receiving process and provide any documentation regarding product to appropriate individuals.\nPull, put back, or stage product by using a forklift and occasional physical lifting.\nPrioritize daily work by reading appropriate product labels and communicating with team members.\nUnderstand the warehouse layout to ensure well-organized product storage and order pulling.\nUse tablets, RF Scanners and/or other computer-like devices for appropriate scanning of product.\nMeet or exceed daily production targets.\nReport any product damages or discrepancies to appropriate individuals.\nFollow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.\nMaintain a clean and efficient work area to the IEWC 5S standards.\nRegularly seek ways to improve the way we work and actively participate in process improvement initiatives.\nTreat all coworkers, customers, and suppliers in a helpful and professional manner.\nThe above represents the essential job functions that are assigned to perform in your job.
