Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien and Nutrien Ag Solutions. What You'll DoAdhere to all Quality standard operating procedures (SOPs) and processesPerform routine QC testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished goodsReport quality and process abnormalities to manager and lead investigations as neededPerform all quality control and quality assurance tests and procedures in a precise, accurate and efficient manner, and follows safety standards and protocols with regards to safe handling of materialsMaintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation, including hands-on instrument troubleshooting & repairMaintain QC logbooks, compile and interpret dataDevelop and author SOPsGenerate Certificates of Analysis (COAs)Maintain exemplary laboratory hygiene in terms of safety and SHE complianceAct as a leader and example for the company’s Behavioral Standards, which focus on Safety, Integrity, Inclusion, Performance, Community, and InnovationPerform other duties as requiredWhat You'll BringAssociate degree in chemistry or a related major. Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Soil Science, Agronomy, Chemical Engineering or related field is preferred2+ years of experience in a laboratory; equivalent degree may be considered in lieu of lab experienceKnowledge of Chemistry and MathematicsExtensive experience with MS Office. Experience with SAP QM Modules, LIMs is preferredAbility to communicate effectively with peers, and managementAbility to work independentlyReady to make an impact with us?
