This role involves applying waterproofing materials, sealants, coatings, and air/vapor barrier systems while working closely with project teams to ensure quality and safety standards are met.ResponsibilitiesInstall waterproofing systems on new construction and restoration projectsApply waterproofing materials using spray, brush, roller, or trowel methodsInstall joint sealants for expansion, contraction, and control jointsWork with silicone, urethane, and acrylic-based sealantsInspect surfaces and identify substrate defects or waterproofing deficienciesPerform repairs and adjustments to ensure watertight installationsCoordinate with superintendents, contractors, and subcontractorsMaintain clean and safe work areasFollow company safety procedures and job site requirementsPerform other related duties as assignedAlong with the main duties you will also be expected to carry out any other duties reasonably asked of you.Qualifications3-5 years of waterproofing or related construction experience preferredKnowledge of:Air and moisture barriersTraffic coating systemsWater repellentsFluid-applied and self-adhered waterproofing systemsAbility to safely operate hand and power toolsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift materials, bend, climb ladders, and work at heightsReliable attendance and punctualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to travel to regional job sites as needesBenefitsEmployer matching contribution retirement planPTO (paid time off)Health InsurancePaid HolidaysHealth Reimbursement AccountGym MembershipAflac Supplemental Insurance (various plans)The schedule is Monday - Thursday, 7:00am-5:30pm (Hours may vary as they are subject to change as needed, but this is the standard day-to-day schedule).4 day work weeks.About UsKaminski Construction is a full service, a family-owned general contracting business based in Eugene, Oregon.
