P-Physical Therapist

Job Description Position: Physical Therapist (P-Physical Therapist)Salary Range: $40-43 per hourHours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with potential weekend shiftsLocation: 86-bed Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team at our 86-bed SNF. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients recover from injuries, illnesses, and surgeries. Your expertise and dedication will make a significant impact on the lives of our residents by improving their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.Key Responsibilities:- Conduct initial evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and modalities to help patients improve their physical abilities and reduce pain- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for patients- Educate patients and their families on exercises and techniques to continue their progress outside of therapy sessions- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and comply with all legal and ethical standards- Keep current with advancements in the field of physical therapy and participate in continuing education opportunitiesQualifications:- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program- Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar setting preferred- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team- Passion for helping others and making a positive impact on their livesWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
