Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel contract at a small surgical facility in Iowa, requiring circulation skills and an active IA or compact RN license.Job Details• Small OR setting with 4 operating rooms performing a variety of surgical procedures including Ortho, GYN, Urology, General, Cataracts, Pain Injections, ENT, and OB,• Ambulatory and general OR experience required, with circulating responsibilities,• Average surgical caseload of 5-10 patients per day,• Altera EMR experience preferred,• Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM),• No regularly scheduled weekend shifts; weekends are on-call only,• On-call rotation required; travelers rotate every 3rd weekend, with only 1-2 weekday shifts during weeks when weekend call is assigned,• When not assigned weekend call, call responsibilities rotate through the week,Job Requirements• Active Iowa (IA) or compact RN license required,• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS,• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required; 3 years preferred,• Circulating experience required,• Ambulatory OR and general OR experience required,• Experience with ENT, Endo, GYN, Podiatry, and Orthopedic procedures preferred,• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration,• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration,Additional Information• Circulating duties across a multi-specialty OR environment,• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application,• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
