Incumbent(s) may be expected to perform job-related duties other than those contained in this document and may be required to have specific job-related knowledge and skills.\n\nWorks with students individually or in small groups in and out of regular classrooms under the supervision of the classroom teacher.\n\nReinforces the instructional plan laid out by the classroom teacher.\n\nProvides instructional assistance and motivate students in the areas of math, reading, and language.\n\nPlans and prepares study aids such as flash cards and worksheets.\n\nAssists teacher with classroom activities; leads breakout sessions.\n\nManages student behavior in small groups in order to create a safe, positive learning environment.\n\nMonitors and reports progress of individual students to teachers.\n\nOther duties or tasks may be assigned on an as-needed basis.\n\nPromotes and support s the overall mission of the District by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with public and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.\n\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
