If you enjoy working on lifted trucks, Jeeps, and aftermarket builds and want a career with real earning potential and growth, this is the place for you.Job SummaryThe Aftermarket Parts Installation Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing aftermarket automotive components on trucks, Jeeps, and SUVs. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship while delivering an excellent customer experience.ResponsibilitiesInstall and work on suspensions, alignments, gears, mounting, and balancing wheels and tires following company and manufacturers' specifications and standardsInstall accessories (bumpers, lights, winches, and more)Perform vehicle alignments using Hunter Hawkeye alignment equipmentInspect completed repairs and installations to ensure quality and vehicle readiness for return to service while maintaining accurate recordsCommunicate professionally and clearly with internal team members and customers when neededNavigate computer systems for alignment machines, wheel balancers, and TPMS tools and record work order informationDemonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and develop professional skillsUnderstand and adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rulesUse appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and additional protection as necessaryMaintain shop cleanliness and appearance to uphold a safe and secure work environmentWork with your team to provide excellent customer serviceQualificationsExperience installing aftermarket accessories for trucks and JeepsExperience with mount and balance, suspension components, and accessory installationsMust possess your own set of professional toolsValid driver's license with no major violations and at least 5 years of driving experience.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., independently, and 100 lbs. with team assistanceAbility to read and follow written instructions and work ordersAbility to work scheduled store hours at the assigned locationEmployment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and motor vehicle record review.Preferred qualifications (Not Required):Proficiency in truck and Jeep minor suspension kits, brakes, general suspension repair, and intermediate installation of accessoriesDisplays expertise in IFS, straight axle suspension, alignments, and advanced installation of Jeep and Truck accessories, including wiring lighting accessories, winches, and power stepsDemonstrates skills in suspension types, electrical work, alignments, and welding. Proficient in replacing ball joints, steering racks, pitman and idler arms, tie-rod ends. Knowledgeable in ring and pinions, axle builds, and drive trainsASE CertificationsWork EnvironmentRetail store service departmentAutomotive garage with concrete floors, industrial structure, vehicle lifts, workbenches/workstations, stationary and moving vehicles and other automotive workshop facility machineryWork includes movement around vehicles, working in various physical positions including balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting, and the safe operation of power tools and test equipment.
