IT Business Applications Director OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Director of Business Applications to provide strategic direction and operational oversight for the planning, implementation, support, integration, and ongoing improvement of core business systems. This role will lead application strategy, oversee daily support operations, and help ensure systems remain reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs.This opportunity is well suited for someone who combines strong leadership skills with practical experience in enterprise systems, application support, and cross-functional collaboration.Key ResponsibilitiesLead strategy, planning, and lifecycle management for core business applicationsOversee application implementation, support, enhancement, and ongoing maintenanceManage day-to-day application support operations and team performanceHelp ensure timely resolution of system issues, service requests, and user needsLead application integration and process improvement initiativesPartner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutionsManage vendor relationships and support software evaluation, licensing, and service oversightHelp establish and maintain standards for access, security, data integrity, and system reliabilitySupport governance, documentation, and continuous improvement efforts across the application environmentMonitor system performance and help drive usability, scalability, and support improvementsProvide leadership, coaching, and development for team membersSupport planning and oversight of application-related spending and prioritiesPerform other duties as assigned QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience4+ years of progressive experience supporting or managing business applications2+ years of leadership experience in a senior applications, systems, or technology roleExperience working with enterprise applications in a complex business environmentExperience leading system integrations, application improvements, or related technical initiativesExperience managing support operations, priorities, and cross-functional collaborationStrong understanding of application security, access management, data integrity, and system support best practicesProven leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Preferred QualificationsExperience with enterprise platforms such as ERP, CRM, HR, or collaboration toolsExperience with workflow automation or business process improvement toolsFamiliarity with vendor-managed or cloud-based software environmentsRelevant certifications in technology, project management, or service delivery Compensation and Additional InformationUp to 155k, mostly remoteOpportunity to lead important systems and business-critical initiativesHigh level of visibility and collaboration across the organizationLong-term growth potential for someone who demonstrates strong leadership and initiative If leading enterprise application strategy excites you and you are eager to join a company that values growth and innovation, we encourage you to bring your expertise to this impactful role.Apply now for immediate consideration!
