This job is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 days in office and 2 days working from home).\r\nPosition Title:Generation Project Manager\r\nReports To:AVP Fossil and Peaking Assets\r\nFLSA Status:Exempt\r\nBasic Functions: Responsible for planning and coordinating projects for a power generation fleet, including combined‑cycle plants, hydroelectric facilities, simple‑cycle gas turbines, reciprocating engines, wind turbines, and photovoltaic solar facilities.\r\nEssential FunctionsDevelops, budgets, manages, and executes power generation projects from initiation through closeout, with a focus on preventative maintenance and system upgrades.\r\nDefines work scopes and supports procurement activities, including preparing RFPs, reviewing contract terms and conditions, and evaluating vendor proposals.\r\nOversees project performance to ensure compliance with specifications while maintaining schedule and budget objectives.\r\nMaintains complete and accurate documentation and reporting, including inspection, testing, and commissioning reports, as well as applicable turnover records.\r\nConceives, develops, designs and/or implements improvements at all AMP generation locations and oversees application of same to problems with generating operations.\r\nSolves problems associated with the design, configuration, integration and implementation of process control solutions including batch software, DCS systems, HMI packages, and oversees the application of those control solutions.\r\nMaintains project documentation and reporting.\r\nOversee long-term contracts with vendors and ensure the terms and conditions are followed.\r\nEnsures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.\r\nDelivers proper project turnover, including documentation, training, and lessons learned.\r\nAnalyze operation and maintenance problems and troubleshoot issues at all generating plants to determine effective solutions.\r\nPerform other duties as assigned.\r\nKnowledge, Skills, & Qualifications:Must possess a minimum of a two (2) year technical degree and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the power generation industry or equivalent energy industry, including prior experience in equipment analysis or maintenance–related role.
