Adecco is assisting a local welding and metal fabrication company located in Oakdale / Escalon in recruiting for an experienced Estimator for a Direct Hire opportunity. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and cost analysis to join a growing organization.The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for welding and fabrication projects. This role works closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure bids reflect material, labor, and production requirements.Work with vendors to obtain pricing for materials and componentsIdentify potential cost savings and efficiency improvementsSupport project planning and production scheduling as neededMaintain accurate records of estimates and historical cost dataHigh school diploma or GED required; technical or engineering background preferred2+ years of estimating experience in welding, metal fabrication, or manufacturingStrong understanding of welding processes, metals, and fabrication methodsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsProficiency with Excel and estimating or ERP softwareStrong math, analytical, and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and organizational abilities Pay Details: $53.00 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
