Assembly Worker

Position Overview: Amcon Laboratories is seeking a detailed Assembly Worker for our flat packs (contact lenses cases) line. The Assembly Worker provides general support in Production and Packaging. This role will mainly focus on hand assemble and following GMP operations requirements and comply with all gowning and safety requirements. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The pay will be $15.00 per hour and you will be paid bi-weekly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provides hand assemble and labeling for packaging. Operates a heat seal machine for packaging finished products. Verifies correct materials are being used by monitoring in-process quality checks within the assigned responsibilities. Provides documentation of completed work accurately and legibly. Complies with GMP guidelines including gowning, hygiene requirements, materials control, and labeling. Requirements: Physical requirements include being able to stand for 8 hours per shift Performs activities with attention to detail and integrity Understanding of written and oral communications and comprehension of work-related documents and SOP’s Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED 0 - 1 year assembly line experience Amcon Laboratories is an equal opportunity employer.
