Journeyman Plumber
Journeyman PlumberWe are seeking a skilled journeyman plumber to join our team, specializing in commercial plumbing systems. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining various plumbing systems, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain commercial plumbing systems including water supply, waste, vent, gas, and specialized piping systems.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specifications.Perform system testing, inspections, and diagnostics to ensure proper functionality.Identify issues and determine effective repair or replacement solutions.Ensure all work complies with applicable local, state, and federal plumbing codes.Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and other trades on job sites.Complete work efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.Accurately document work performed, materials used, and job progress.Respond to service calls and emergency repairs when required.Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in safe working condition.Provide guidance and oversight to apprentices as assigned.Essential SkillsProficiency in construction, plumbing, mechanical systems, and piping.Experience with commercial construction, including PVC and cast iron systems.Ability to use hand tools, soldering, and pipe threading techniques.Blueprint and schematic proficiency.Knowledge of plumbing codes.Backflow Prevention Certification.OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in piping layout and pipefitting.Capability to work with pipe systems and interpret blueprints.Why Work Here?Join a company that values growth and career development, with opportunities for promotions to Leads or Foreman.
