Job Description Job Title: Heavy Equipment Sales RepresentativeCompany: The Ironpeddlers - Wilmington, NC*Only apply if you have sales and construction equipment experience*Job Summary: To promote and profitably sell SANY and other heavy equipment, along with Ironpeddlers services including but not limited to equipment, parts, repair services, planned maintenance and on-site maintenance to all product users through planned customer contact within an assigned territory for new branch launch in the Wilmington, NC area.QualificationsKnowledge of Microsoft systems (Outlook, Excel, Word)Previous experience in heavy equipment, or machinery salesStrong mechanical and technical knowledge of heavy equipment and machineryExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to multitaskAbility to work flexible hoursExcellent customer relationship skillsHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experienceValid Drivers License and clean driving recordAny offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a drug screen, MVR and background checkResponsibilitiesThis self-motivated individual will be responsible for the sale and rental of new and used construction equipment to NEW and existing customers within their territoryWork Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday Hybrid WorkRequires mostly remote with little in office timeThey will be responsible for representing Ironpeddlers in a professional manner during their day-to-day activitiesIncrease the footprint of Ironpeddlers within the specified territoryAttract and maintain new customersManage day to day sales calls and customer visitsAdvise management on day to day activities and follow-up neededPrepare and present product information to new customersMaintain and grow existing relationshipsAssist with customer and operator training as requiredAccount Management, including past due collections, finance and obtaining rental/sales documentationWorking at The Ironpeddlers offers a rewarding career with opportunities for professional growth and development within the company.
