The Technical Communicator serves as a key technical resource for service teams across the dealership network. C & B Equipment is a drug-free workplace.\r\nCompetitive pay based on your experience\r\nExcellent benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Accident Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401K with generous match\r\nProgressive Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays\r\nOpportunities to grow – We love to promote within and have excellent training programs available to prepare you on-the-job and for your future with us.\r\nEssential Duties\r\nSupport Technicians, Service Managers, and Parts Managers in diagnosing and resolving complex equipment issues.\r\nCoordinate and manage John Deere CCMS cases, ensuring accurate documentation and communication with factory support.\r\nResearch machine issues using diagnostic tools, machine data, service information, and previous case history.\r\nPartner with John Deere to identify and resolve emerging product quality concerns.\r\nShare technical knowledge and best practices across dealership locations.\r\nIdentify technical training needs and assist with training delivery, apprenticeship programs, and new product launches.\r\nMaintain current knowledge of engine, hydraulic, electrical, and machine systems.\r\nQualifications\r\n5+ years of experience in service and/or parts operations within agriculture, construction, turf, or heavy equipment industries.\r\nStrong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.\r\nExperience using diagnostic and service software tools preferred.\r\nProven ability to communicate technical information and deliver training.\r\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and customer service skills.\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.\r\nValid driver's license with a safe driving record.\r\nAbility to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion generally required to perform tasks in support of all job functions, for example - sitting, standing, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and pulling\r\nTravel is required, including overnight stays for training events.
