We seek talented, passionate, and committed engineers, technologists, and business leaders to join us.\n\nJob Summary:\nThe Project Manager in Supermicro will be responsible for developing Marketing tools in support of sales initiatives, drive new technology knowledge transfer to sales representatives, support Intel IIP, MDF and innovation fund projects, provide statistical analysis to support potential markets such as Telco's NFV and SDN to drive Supermicro solutions into these new developing technical arenas and deliver marketing support as needed. The Project Manager will have solid experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, partnering with the field sales organization, and have the ability to manage physician relationships and develop key opinion leaders.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nCollaborative prioritization with sales team\n\nCollect requirements\n\nCommunicate with stakeholders\n\nDevelop and maintain issue logs and identify key resolutions for issues/tasks at hand\n\nWork closely with stakeholders to track and manage program efforts\n\nCreate, maintain and monitor program activity reports and metrics\n\nProcess improvement projects\n\nDrive and/or support the Intel programs including Innovation funding, IIP and MDF\n\nProvide Supermicro technical customer presentations\n\nDevelop and maintain process documentation\n\nMonitor program activity and follow up with stakeholders\n\nCreate and monitor project reports for program managers, proactively identifying and communicating potential issues with plan executions\n\nCollaborate frequently and closely with the team to ensure program activities and project tasks are executed on time\n\nCoordinate distributions in accordance with program management policy\n\nPoint of contact for stakeholders which may include both internal and external customers\n\nQualifications:\n\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or other related fields and with Master’s degree is preferred\n\n5 years’ experience as a leader of cross-functional teams, ideally in hardware and software solution product management and marketing preferred\n\nStrong analytical, marketing and project management skills - a drive for results and a history of successful execution on projects\n\nStrong communication, problem solving, and managerial skills to interface with cross-functional teams\n\nAbility to develop business relationships from scratch, both internal and external to Supermicro\n\nHighly analytical, creative, detail oriented, organized, good team player, Self-starter approach to work, with an eagerness to consistently exceed objectives and improve processes\n\nThe ability to create technical presentations (PPT) and present to potential customer accounts in a professional environment with enthusiasm for a quality sales approach in support to international sales teams\n\nKnowledge of server/workstation hardware business models\nSalary Range\n$90,000 - $130,000\nThe salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role.
