Upon successful completion of training, employees will transition to the regular weekend night shift (Friday-Sunday, 7:00 PM-7:00 AM).\n\nEssential responsibilities include the following:\nPerform basic machining operations using assigned machine tools\nInspect parts using basic measuring tools. Inform lead person of out of tolerance situations. Obtain first piece inspection approval before proceeding. Conduct periodic inspection of parts.\nPrepare and maintain records and reports as required. Maintain established quality standards. Ensure work area and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe and orderly condition, that prescribed safety measures are followed, and established company policies and procedures are adhered to.\nObserve all safety rules and regulations including wearing and maintaining personal protective equipment.\nOperates equipment in a safe manner. Participate as a member of work teams.\nAssist in measuring team performance for safety, quality, cost and to continually improve these measures.\nRead, follow basic blueprints, diagrams, specifications, bills of materials, and/or procedures to accurately assemble products.\nPerform microscope inspection on assembled parts.\nMaintain inventory of product in workstations.\nPerform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.\nIdentify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.\nPerform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.\nAttends required training programs. Performs 5s activities.\nAssist in the training of other associates in procedures and use of equipment.\nAbility to read, use various inspection equipment, precision tools, understand and apply basic inspection and sound measurement practices.\nOther duties may be assigned\n\nEducation and/or Experience:\nHS Graduate of Equivalent i.e. GED\nAt least 6 months’ work experience in a manufacturing environment\nAbility to remain productive under indirect supervision and follow verbal and written instructions and techniques\nBasic mathematical aptitude required\nCompensation\nEmployee Type: Hourly\nCurrency: USD\nSalary Minimum: 40,000\nSalary Maximum: 60,000\nIncentive: No\nDisclaimer: Where a specific pay range is noted, it is a good faith estimate at the time of this posting.
