We invite you to join the team where you can build, innovate, and secure your career.Sentar is seeking a Front End Lead Developer in Chantilly, VA!Role DescriptionAs a Front End Lead Developer, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and management of application development projects in support of the IT infrastructure. You will develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modeling, and advanced analytics to support a forensic and investigative ecosystem.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and manage application development projects in support of IT infrastructureIntegrate third-party components and introduce new custom capabilitiesModify existing code and recommend process improvementsAutomate operations and maintenance tasksDevelop and implement technical efforts for large-scale data processing and advanced analyticsParticipate in all aspects of the software development life cycleContribute to planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assuranceParticipate in technical project milestone reviews and code architecture sessionsProvide resource estimation and development best practices knowledge transferParticipate in Program Increments (PIs) and Agile Release Train (ART) activitiesSupport the multi-enclave environment (Unclassified, Secret, and Top Secret)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integrationQualificationsClearance Level:Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fieldExperience Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineeringExperience with SAFe Agile frameworkStrong understanding of forensic and investigative system requirementsDemonstrated experience designing and implementing complex software solutions in secure government environmentExperience::Angular knowledge is a mustAngular Material and C#/.Net knowledge is neededElasticSearch/ OpenSearch, ETl pipeline knowledge preferredRequired Technical SkillsSenior-LevelAdvanced Proficiency With Multiple programming languages and frameworksComplex system architecture designMessage brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, and RedisElasticsearch, Splunk, and other data platformsContainerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)Cloud platforms (AWS GovCloud, SC2S, C2S)DevSecOps practices and toolsPerformance optimization and scalability designSecurity engineering principlesAdditional Technical ExperienceExperience with: Frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Svelte)Data streaming and integration technologies such as Apache NifiInfrastructure as Code (Terraform)GraphQLMicroservices architectureSAFe Agile methodologiesWorking in classified environmentsWork EnvironmentPrimary location: Chantilly, VAMay require occasional travel for Program Increment planning sessionsMust be a U.S. citizen and able to pass a background check and polygraph examinationMay require flexible scheduling to support critical operationsBenefits At SentarOur unique ownership model attracts top talent, giving employees the freedom to take initiative and drive meaningful improvements.
