This role works closely with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans, specifications, and contract requirements.\n\nThis position also supports Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) efforts, assisting with digital modeling, coordination, and visualization using tools such as Revit and CAD to improve constructability, planning, and field execution.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nAssist the Project Engineer and Superintendent with daily project coordination and field operations.\n\nReview project plans, specifications, and contract documents to understand project scope and requirements.\n\nSupport preparation and tracking of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.\n\nCoordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure work aligns with the project schedule and scope.\n\nAssist with quantity tracking, cost monitoring, and progress reporting.\n\nParticipate in project meetings including subcontractor coordination and planning meetings.\n\nMaintain accurate project records including drawings, specifications, permits, and field reports.\n\nConduct field walks to observe work progress, safety and verify work is being installed conforming to project plans and quality standards.\n\nAssist with procurement coordination and tracking of materials and equipment deliveries.\n\nSupport project scheduling efforts and track project milestones.\n\nCollaborate with safety teams to ensure work is completed in accordance with project safety standards and company policies.\n\nVirtual Design & Construction (VDC) Responsibilities\n\nSupport Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) coordination efforts to enhance project planning and execution.\n\nAssist with development and review of 3D models using Revit and CAD platforms.\n\nParticipate in model coordination to identify potential design conflicts or constructability issues.\n\nWork with project teams to integrate digital models into field planning and construction sequencing.\n\nUtilize digital drawings and modeling tools to support layout, coordination, and visualization of project components.\n\nHelp maintain model updates and documentation as design revisions occur.\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent construction experience.\n\nInternship or previous experience in construction project management, field engineering, or VDC support preferred.\n\nBasic understanding of construction methods, project scheduling, and contract documentation.\n\nAbility to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.\n\nFamiliarity with Revit, AutoCAD, or other CAD-based modeling software.\n\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\n\nEffective written and verbal communication skills.\n\nAbility to collaborate with field teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).\n\nAbility to work in field environments, including outdoor construction sites.\n\nMust be authorized to work in the United States.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nPrior experience with water/wastewater construction.\n\nCivil/structural/earthworks experience on large heavy civil construction or process projects, i.e. power, gas, petrochem or mining process.\n\nOnsite experience with a self-performing
